The Results are In
There are many different people who wonder why I have chosen to homeschool my son. Well, to them I would say that the results are in! My son just completed taking the state tests that he must do each year. The results were absolutely fantastic!
In comparing his results from last fall to this spring, he has raised his testing scores in all areas. He went up a minimum of 4 points in math to an astounding 10 points in reading. His grammar and science tests fell within these two numbers and are nothing to sneeze at either. I am pleased. He is pleased. The state is pleased. This is proof that I have done my job as a teacher.
He never received scores like these in the public school system. If I had left him there, I am confident he would not have achieved so much this year. So you want proof that homeschooling works? The proof is in these testing scores. The results are in and we are not looking back! Enough said.
